Phils Special Evening

I can not say much more than the Title this was ...............
Phils Special Evening .
We had all worked through the day for most of it the sun
shone and sat waiting to get on the side of the river.
We arrived late and the heavens opened lashing rain down
the water was at a good level ,Mike asked about the migratory
fish to which I said they had been spotted , the good water
may encourage them to run a little . We walked to the glides we
fancied ,on the way the odd splash of fish could be seen and eared
Phil had nearly all the sport while me and Mike had a good
time losing fish ,I say good time because we did Iam now
just has happy when either Mike or Phil hook up than I am
myself .

I was fishing the fast water below Phil I had just lost my
second good fish , I turned to tell him he was stood mouth
open rod bent and this Silver bar brightly leaping against
the backdrop of a dark grey sky neither of us spoke until
I shouted ''Sea Trout'' Phil already knew what he had
hooked but was speechless .After a few minutes Phil
landed it on the pin ''FANTASTIC''
Phil slipped her back another treasured moment !!!
