Went to fish the river over the Christmas break but it had been raining heavy but we still traveled in hope ,when we arrived the water was in full spate .
Well and truly rained off , we put a brave face on it and called at a nearby trout fishery for a few hours even though the rain was never far off we enjoyed it , especially Phil he took his first fish on the fly , a nice Rainbow in between one and a half to two pounds , it was not easy fishing but his persistence finally payed off ''well done'' . We ended the day with a few fish and very wet.
